Mission Statement
The mission of the Henka blog is to act as a pure source of transmission of Hatsumi Soke’s teaching in Japan.
Hatsumi Soke is not currently traveling the world to teach his Budo and therefore, unless you visit Japan on a regular basis, or train regularly with someone who does so, it is difficult to maintain the connection.
Soke clearly states that Budo cannot be expressed in words, and this I believe. Soke did also state that it is important to write things down and discuss about Budo for your own training. Therefore, Henka is a training log, or diary and a means for all Bujinkan practitioners to learn from Sokes’s teachings.
Please understand that Henka is NOT a forum. Forums have their place, but it is not here. Therefore, comments that create a discussion should not be made. Comments are very much welcome and extremely valuable, but please keep them as comments only. Please leave a comment, but please let us know who you are by signing with your full name. Anonymous comments will not be approved and any comments stimulating a discussion will be edited or removed.
I truly appreciate your cooperation.
