  1. Paul and Rob are a synergistic team. Rob was showing some great drills for working on fundamental movements and then applying them, with Paul then taking those same ideas and translating it into “the feeling”. Then they’d get into applications of the same stuff with weapons (typically tanto, katana, hanbo, nawa) and applications versus multiple attackers. Major focus on taking the conflict out of combat. It was the most fun I’ve had training since Japan in December.

  2. Dale I must agree.. It was some very cool stuff. I would like to thank the people that did come out and support this one of a kind event. We hope to put another one on again in the future. I think Paul and Rob are in a unique position living in Japan, training almost daily. Having them come out and show what is going on in Japan from two different views but yet the same is some great stuff……
It was nice to also hear both insights from Dale Seago and Bill Atkins both during the event and at the Q & A we had on Saturday night. Wonderful insights, truly a Buyu event. Let’s do another one soon!
