I really liked this entry.. for me, living in a city like Madrid, is funny to try all these mental states of Ku to disappear in the middle of the crowd..

I completely agree that ninpo is the ultimate martial art, specially in the meaning that it becomes so part of your life that entangles with every aspect of your day..

The question "why this art?" has crossed my mind several times. More so when I was living in a culture (Japan) that had people who seemed to have had all these little natural stealth like abilties instilled in them. I guess all I can say is is that the people I came in contact with in this art gave me a very good first impression, especially on a heartistic level.
From how I saw it (living in Japan) some seem to be more of a target than others, and I guess it was all about what was permitted / accepted (cultrally). From all the stares on the train I got, I found it always hard trying to hide / blend in a crowd on a subway train being 6-3. It just wasn't going to happen. And of course having that Will Smith appearance didn't help either. That being said, I just couldn't understand how all the women hid from me so well like they did.
Overall, do to my natural "differences" or standout appearance, I got a lot of shit. Especially on my morning commute to work. I'm sure I might have made a few short, insecure Japanese feel less of whatever, but hey, we can't hide in a box.
From my experience, hardships are just unavoidable at times and righteousness can't hide. But the food we feed fools can.
